I've been forced to block many of these lessons.

Until recently, all of these lessons were 100% free. For the past few months I've been experimenting with a 'donation' plan

It was a very noble idea. I had hoped the 'donation idea' would help defray expenses, and allow all this to remain online for free, indefinitely. It was hoped that 'some people' would donate, and help keep this valuable resource available for everyone else.

The donation plan was a dismal failure. I've learned that people will not donate a penny for anything, here on the Web.

There are more than $2,000 worth of priceless drum set lessons in this course. It costs approximately $200 per month to keep it all afloat. If it can't pay it's way . . . it's gone. I'm an old retired drummer. I do this for the fun, but I don't have to do it, nor am I trying to get rich.

The sad news is that between June and September of 2009, more than 1.2 million people used the site. They scarfed-up everything they could get for free, then they disappeared without even saying "Thank you!". I think that part hurt the worst. My in-box went totally dead on the day I converted to the donation plan, and it stayed dead for the entire time.

A grand total of ONLY TWO PEOPLE made donations during that time. There were 1.2 million unique hits, and only two donations! That just isn't enough to pay the costs of maintaining an operation of this magnitude. It's actually a pathetic showing. The donation idea is now ancient History. It didn't work.

So . . . This web site course in drum set techniques, is now a commercial web site again. If you want these lessons, you'll need to pay a nominal fee to acquire membership access to them. If you've made it this far into the course, you already know the value.
