Bill Powelson's School of Drums

Are you looking for weekly private online drum set lessons?

You can do it here! I have 50+ years in the business, as a working drummer (by night) and as a pro-teacher (by day.) I've been teaching drums my entire adult life. Knowing computers the way I do, I am here to tell you, we can conduct private lessons here online in a way that's BETTER than if you came to my private studios. Also; if I can't prove it in the first month . . . all you have to do is stop the lessons. This is a thing whose time has come. Are you visionary enough to take advantage of it?

HOW DO WE DO IT?

I already have all the lessons prepared that you'll be needing. I'll be teaching you the exact same lessons I would teach you in a private setting. But, we'll enjoy the advantages that your computer can bring to the table. You may study when you like, as fast or slowly as you like, and you'll also avoid the scheduling problems that tend to arise when visiting a private instructor. You won't have to fight the 5 o'clock traffic, nor will you need to interrupt your dinner hour. Study when YOU want to study! It's really the same (or better) than private lessons, except you won't need to look at my ugly mug once a week. We DO NOT have to be face-to-face, for me to help you in exactly the same way (or better) than I could do in the private sector.

We'll communicate via e-mail, . . . that's all! I'll ask questions designed to tell me what lessons you need most, and when they're needed. This will help us tailor a lesson plan directly suited to your specific needs. It'll save you time and frustration during the learning process.

You'll pay at a rate of $5 (USD) per lesson, in blocks of 4 weeks of individualized lessons for $20 per month. Compare that with the going rate, and realize that I can make it BETTER, for half the cost. You'll save a bundle and learn twice as fast, while enjoying the direct help and supervision of a veteran pro-drummer/instructor every step of the way.

Age? It really isn't much of a factor at all.

Kids, under the ages of 8 or 9, may need the help of an older adult. I'll help the adult and the adult (age 12 or older) will work with the child, using the same easy (too easy) methods I've developed over the years. With a little adult help, I've found that kids as young as 4 years old, can become very talented by age 6, using my methods of instruction. Don't believe it? Challenge me to prove it!

Also; No one is ever too old to learn. My oldest student to date was over age 70. They did just fine and went on to be playing in a 'seniors' band within a matter of a few months. Why not you?
